Background

Frontiers of Economics in China (FEC) is one of the English Journals under the umbrella of the Frontiers in China. The latter, as the largest series of academic journals with the broadest coverage in China, was launched in 2006 by China's Ministry of Education consisting of 17 disciplines in the fields of natural sciences and 7 in humanities and social sciences. FEC is a double-blind peer-reviewed economics journal co-sponsored by Higher Education Press, Beijing and Institute for Advanced Research (IAR), Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Issued quarterly and distributed worldwide, the journal is available both online and in hard-copy.

  

Since its founding till the present, FEC has been included into international databases like Academic OneFile, CAB Abstracts, CAB International, Cabell's Directories, EBSCO-BSU, EconLit, E-JEL, Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Gale, Google, OCLC, ProQuest, Research Papers in Economics (RePEc), SCOPUS, Summon by Serials Solutions. FEC's focus on in-depth, profound and insightful articles and its quick reaction to international research trend has made its reputation and influence grow rapidly at home and abroad. With constant progress in each stage since the inception, FEC aspires to become the most distinguished economics journal based in China.
