Author Guidelines

 Papers (in WORD or PDF) should be written in English only and submitted online athttps://wiley.atyponrex.com/journal/ISE3 (for users based in Mainland China, we recommend you use Google Chrome or a higher version of IE to log in on the online portal).

 Manuscripts submitted to ISE are not subject to any page charges or article processing charges (APC). Currently, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics is covering the APC for accepted papers.

 Only original papers are acceptable. Submission of the same paper to multiple journals is NOT permitted. Once such a case is established, the paper(s) in question will be immediately rejected and its author(s) will be blacklisted for a period of one year.

Before you submit, you will only need to prepare two files:

The title page should should contain:

· A brief informative title containing the major key words. The title should not contain abbreviations (see Wiley's best practice SEO tips);

· A short running title of less than 40 characters;

· The full names of the authors;

· The author's institutional affiliations where the work was conducted, with a footnote for the author’s present address if different from where the work was conducted;

· Acknowledgments and, where applicable, disclosure of funding and/or conflict of interest.

Main Text File

The Main Text File should be in Word or PDF format and include:

Manuscripts can be uploaded either as a single document (containing the main text, tables and figures), or with figures and tables provided as separate files.  The main manuscript file can be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF format for peer review.

If your paper is written using LaTeX, you will be asked to submit the LaTex file(s) when your paper is accepted and ready for the production stage. You will do so via Research Exchange, and select the file designation “Main Document – LaTeX .tex File” for upload.   All supporting files that are referred to in the LaTeX Main Document should be uploaded as a “LaTeX Supplementary File.”

Your main text file should include:

· A brief informative title containing the major key words;

· Abstract;

· Up to six keywords;

· Up to three JEL codes;

· Main body: including introduction, analysis, and conclusion;

· References;

· Tables (each table complete with title and footnotes);

· Figure legends: Legends should be supplied as a complete list in the text.

Reference Style

This journal uses Chicago reference style; as the journal offers Free Format submission, however, this is for information only and you do not need to format the references in your article. This will instead be taken care of by the typesetter.
