Dr. Yugui Guo Attended Peaceful Development Forum and Delivered A Speech upon Invitation


    On July 11, 2009, the 1st Peaceful Development Forum was held in Washington D.C. Dr. Yugui Guo, Director of IAR Center for Global Studies in Education, Professor of US Asian Cultural Academy (UACA), Consultant of US National Science Foundation (NSF) participated in the Forum and delivered a speech on the influence and enlightenment of American educational concept and policy changes on the educational community in mainland China and Taiwan in the era of knowledge economy.

    Dr. Guo has been long dedicated to the research and practice in international education in the context of globalization. He has published several academic works such as Asia’s Educational Edge: Current Achievements in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, and India and dozens of papers such as Review of the Educational Achievements of Bush’s Eight-year Administration and Prediction of Obama’s Educational Policies, which contribute to research advancement in this field.
