We are pleased to announce that the Frontiers of Economics in China (FEC) has been included in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), a new index launched in late 2015 by Thomson Reuters.
ESCI was designed to extend the universe of publications in Web of Science to include high-quality, peer-reviewed publications of regional importance and in emerging scientific fields. Currently a total of 3005 journals from around the world are included in the index. According to Thomson Reuters, journals in ESCI have passed an initial editorial evaluation and can continue to be considered for inclusion in other databases such as SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI. Items in ESCI are searchable and discoverable in the Web of Science Core Collection.
The inclusion of the FEC in the ESCI reflects a recognition of the journal’s quality by the Web of Science, the world’s leading research platform. It will enhance the FEC’s visibility and impact worldwide.
In addition to ESCI, the FEC is also indexed in:Academic OneFile, CAB Abstracts, CAB International, Cabell's Directories, EconLit, E-JEL, Gale, Google, OCLC, Research Papers in Economics (RePEc), SCOPUS, and Summon by Serials Solutions.
