The Frontiers of Economics in China invites submissions of manuscripts on economic issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic for expedited publication. Given the rapid evolution of the pandemic and its impact on the economies around the world, it is important that research findings in this area are published and disseminated promptly to inform decision-making by governments, firms and individuals. Therefore, for a limited time only, the FEC will adopt an expedited review process for manuscripts on economic issues related to the pandemic. Specifically,
· The journal will guarantee a decision on each manuscript within 60 days of submission.
· There will be only two categories of decisions: accept (possibly with minor revisions) or reject. This will ensure that authors will not be made to go through lengthy revision processes.
· Accepted manuscripts will be published in the December 2021 issue.
To be eligible for the expedited review process, a manuscript must be submitted before May 15, 2021, and it must be about economic issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The topic can be empirical or theoretical, and it does not have to be related to China.
