The Frontiers of Economics in China (FEC) invites submissions of manuscripts for a symposium on the economics of the “One Belt One Road” Initiative (also known as the Belt and Road Initiative, or BRI), scheduled to be published in the December 2022 issue. To ensure its timely publication, the FEC will adopt an expedited review process for manuscripts submitted to this symposium. Specifically, the journal will guarantee a first-round decision on each manuscript within eight (8) weeks of initial submission. Moreover, there will be at most one round of revisions, after which the manuscript will be either accepted or rejected. This will ensure that authors will not be made to go through lengthy revision processes.  

To be eligible for the expedited review process, a manuscript must be submitted before January 31, 2022, and it must be an economic study of the BRI. The study may be empirical or theoretical, and it may be in any field of economics.
